To God be all the glory.

Fine Linen

Your beauty shouldn’t come
from what meets the eye.
It should come from your spirit,
the self inside.
Fancy apparel might be a disguise.
But the truth wouldn’t change
if it’s covered in lies.
The worth of your soul
is not defined by the value of your gold
or your jewels or your stones
or your salary or balance
or the price tag hanging with a man-made fee
or the charm of your garments.
You’re the only one who cares
when you’re posing.
Save yourself the effort,
stay authentic in your motives.
Represent your spirit to the fullest
on the surface.
Don’t be blinded by the charm of the garments.
Never be ruled by luxuries.
Be influenced by the right qualities.
Self-control.
Modesty.
Keep a God-fearing spouse as your company.
Get a spouse who believes in decency.
One who dresses their appeal in secrecy.
One who covers what the world doesn’t need to see.
One committed to respect and purity.
And remember it goes both ways
Keep hypocrisy out of the frame.
Let your home be a humble space.
Keep arrogance out of the place.
Open your gate and let humanity walk in.
Charity launches.
Families brought in.
No room for pride.
A roof above love.
You must let it be a home that is ready to receive.
Let it be a home where the blessings shall increase.
Let it be a home where it’s easy to believe.
Let it be a home full of people on their knees.
Help the ones not privileged to shine through.
Pay tuitions to enrol them in the right schools
to make sure they get equipped with the right tools
so their gifts and talents will be fine-tuned.
And any time they want to give you some gratitude,
tell them God is the one who you’ll pass it to.
He’s the one who’s been paving all the avenues.
Tell them give thanks for his generous attitude.
Always always
do your best to pick the fruit of the light.
Always always
dress your actions in fine linen.
Always do your best
to pick the fruit of the light, dawg.
Always dress your actions
in nothing but fine linen.
Always do your best
to pick the fruit of the light, dawg.
Always dress your actions
in nothing but fine linen.
Being righteous is the purpose of your lifestyle,
so your faith travels further than your eyesight
and no miracle could hit you with a blindside
and you’re always grateful
for the lows and the highlights.
There’s a reason for the hurdles on the road.
Thank God for agility.
Fuelled by, powered by the Holy Trinity.
Shackles shaken off your ankles;
sweet liberty
Stepped away from wicked ways;
goodbye misery.
No more appetite for strife;
goodbye hostility.
Purified your circle;
goodbye toxicity.
Dedicated to the Lord.
Hello infinity.
Yeah.
Righteousness at all times.
Keep it pumping through your bloodline.
Keep the hunger for righteousness.
Yeah.
Pass the thirst for righteousness.
Yeah.
Find no pleasure in profits from oppression.
And no handshakes for bribes.
Only righteous walks.
Only righteous talk.
Yeah.
Only righteousness.
Yeah.
Remember to guard your heart
and block your ears from the bloodshed.
Yeah.
Shut your eyes from the wickedness.
Block your ears from the wickedness.
Yeah.
Shut your eyes from the bloodshed.
Keep your input and output positive.
Aim to be dwelling on the heights in a fortress.
Walk in integrity along with the saints.
Keep your mind set on the things of the Spirit.
Your prayers are effective.
Your prayers are powerful.
Yeah.
Your prayers are very powerful.
When trouble comes, you know who to call.
Stay firm and in line to embrace your reward.
And grey hair is a crown of honour.
It is earned by living a good life.
Until then, you will never be shaken.
And your lips know what finds favour.

You will be remembered forever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
‘cause the righteous will be remembered forever
and ever and ever and ever.
You will be remembered forever
and ever and ever and ever and ever
‘cause the righteous will be remembered forever
and ever and ever and ever.
Fight the good fight.
Finish the race.
Never loosen that grip around your faith.
Fight the good fight.
Finish the race.
Never loosen that grip around your faith.
Praise be to the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In his great mercy,
he has given us new birth
into a living hope
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ
from the dead.
Jesus said,
“I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me”.
Salvation is found in no one else,
for there is no other name under heaven
given to mankind
by which we must be saved.
He saved us,
not because of righteous things we had done,
but because of his mercy.
He saved us
through the washing of rebirth and renewal
by the Holy Spirit.
For all have sinned
and fall short of the glory of God.
God made Jesus,
who had no sin,
to be sin for us,
so that in him
we might become the righteousness of God.
The Lord says,
“My sheep listen to my voice;
I know them, and they follow me.
I give them eternal life,
and they shall never perish;
no one can snatch them out of my hand”.
Remember…
the Lord is your light and your salvation;
whom shall you fear?
The Lord is the strength of your life;
of whom shall you be afraid?
Remember…
flesh gives birth to flesh,
but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh,
and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Selah.
